ONAM CELEBRATION AT SCHOOL Onam is a cultural festival of Kerala. Malayalees from all over the world have been celebrating this festival regardless of caste and religion. In Kerala, Onam, the biggest festival of Malayali, comes in the month of Singha, which marks the arrival of the new year. Onam falls in the months of August-September in the English calendar.  Today we celebrated Onam in our school. The students came to the school at 9.00 am itself. They all were so excited and happy to celebrate the Onam. The children  and Teachers made a very beautiful POOKKLAM in front of the school. The function started at 10.30 am. HM gave Onam message to the students. And the students and teachers performed various programs. The students also performed a graceful THIRUVATHIRA. After the programs games sections were started. SEVENTH WEEK TEACHING PRACTICE REPORT (16/08/2022 TO 20/08/2022)  This was the last week of our teaching practice. We all were so busy completing our portions and helping the students to prepare for their exams which was going to start on 24th August. Our general teacher Megha ma'am came to evaluate our classes. They gave a very good review after evaluating our classes. This helped us a lot to improve our teaching skills. Megha ma'am suggested us to watch and evaluate the classes of our friends too. She told that will help us to understand what our weaknesses are. 18th was a holiday due to SREE KRISHNA JAYANTHI. I conducted achievement test for my students of standard 8th B. They wrote the test paper very well. And on this week itself I collected samples for my project. This week also helped me to become a good teacher.

SIXTH WEEK TEACHING PRACTICE REPORT (08/08/2022 to 12/08/2022) Sixth week of teaching practice  It was the sixth week of teaching practice. As usual it was a busy week. We all were so busy completing our portions. Our teachers came for the second round of evaluation. subha ma'am came on 10th August Wednesday and evaluated my class. The students also practiced for the independence day programs. This week also helped us to improve in many ways. In between sports day was also celebrated.

  CONSCIENTIZATION PROGRAMME                    We the teacher trainees together conducted 'THE PROGRAMME CONSCIENTIZATION ' on 12th August 2022 in Std IXth about 'AWARENESS ON AGAINST DRUG ABUSE  AMONG STUDENTS '                         Effective drug education is important because young people are faced with many influences to use both licit and illicit drugs.
